Personal Profile
My family's Western heritage spans six generations, with ancestors who migrated out West in pursuit of prosperity and a better life. Growing up in Belle Fourche, SD, I was immersed in rural culture and gained valuable experience in agricultural work.
Later on, my family moved to the Washington DC area where I owned and managed several successful restaurants and nightclubs, serving prominent clientele from Capitol Hill and the entertainment industry. However, I always felt a strong pull back to my ancestral roots and the natural beauty of the West.
Twelve years ago, I relocated to Sheridan to pursue my passions for hunting, fishing, and enjoying the stunning natural resources of north central Wyoming. I am blessed to have a supportive wife and two children who bring joy to my life.
After working as a supervisor for Sanjel, Inc., an oil and gas services company, I realized that my true calling was in helping people with their real estate needs. My diverse experiences living and working in both rural and urban areas, as well as my international travels in Europe and Asia, have given me a unique perspective and empathy for people from all walks of life.
As a Real Estate Agent with CENTURY 21 BHJ Realty, Inc., partnered with Roger St. Clair in the Steger St. Clair Real Estate Team, I use my natural "people skills" to connect with clients on a personal level and help them achieve their dreams. I am passionate about helping others and committed to providing exceptional service and guidance to buyers and sellers.

Buyer reviewThis relocation and home buying was supposed to be a slow and very careful process. It's my first house and I wanted it to be perfect, not perfect in a generic way, but a perfect fit for me. For about six weeks, Joe emailed me properties to look at. He followed up with phone calls to check on anything that might have caught my eye. Then everything sped up within two days. My temporary living arrangements fell through and I needed to make home-buying happen. I called Joe and he set up properties to see the next day. I think what made the choice easier was that Joe listened to what I NEEDED and was able to extrapolate what I WANTED. He gave me excellent advice about local markets and local businesses as well as insight into the process. I ended up with the perfect house FOR ME. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with how this has all unfolded. Outstanding on all accounts!

Buyer reviewAfter deciding to become a first time home owner, I had very little experience in how the home buying experience worked. After interviewing with multiple agents, Joe was an easy choice. His expertise and insights proved to be invaluable in the entire process. He made it very simple to understand what was happening and explained why it was happening as well as providing advice on how to proceed. Joe is a very competent and kind man, and I would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Seller reviewI took a chance on Joe because I have not been in Sheridan for years. I was raised in Sheridan ; got married and moved to Torrington,Wy in 1961. I asked a friend in Torrington- a broker- and he recommended Roger and after talking to him I found out he was not going to be available and sent me to Joe. My sister died and left the house in her trust .As only Trustee It was up to me to clean out the house and put it on the market I enjoyed working with Joe and he had excellent suggestion for us to improve the interior and sell better. We did almost everything that Joe suggested and had the house under contract even before it was listed. I had spent so much time in Sheridan taking care of my sister before she died and then cleaning the house out- but not able to finish it because of health issues so I left a lot for Joe to be responsible for and was pleased with his willingness to do that. He also had to deal with my brother who was making a "pest " out of himself and Joe handled him OK I thank him from the "bottom of my heart" for his assistance.
