When I relocated to Bay County in 2012, I had two goals in mind. The first goal was to gain viable employment, and the second was to purchase a home for myself and my two children. With a lot of hard work and good fortune, my goals were achieved when I became a homeowner in September 2017. I have always had an interest in real estate. Going through the process of becoming a homeowner heightened that interest and I could see myself bringing that experience to other potential homeowners. I made the decision to dedicate myself and invest time learning the tools and gaining the skills necessary to become a qualified realtor.
Taking advantage of my strong work ethic, I strive each day to be that individual with the knowledge and skillset to best represent each client individually. No two clients are the same, and I know that I'd provide each client with guidance and the assistance needed to navigate the real estate industry. Bay County is a fantastic place to live and vacation. The county is famous for having some of the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches." Bay County also has an abundance of beautiful parks, a great variety of shopping opportunities, restaurants, and community events scheduled year-round. Bay County also offers many great school opportunities. I have enjoyed getting to know the Bay County community and its schools. It's a place where I feel that you'd never run out of things to do or places to relax and unwind. Each Bay County community is unique and offers its own advantages. I strive to be the realtor with the continual knowledge, passion, and privilege of turning clients into not only homeowners but successfully gaining as much money as they can from their properties.
Since gaining my Real Estate Licensed in January of 2019, I have had the pleasure of working with many Buyers and Sellers in Bay County and all over the country. I have been privileged to be a part of countless closings and have acquired a few awards along the way, including Listing Agent of the Year for 2022 at Century 21 Ryan Realty. As I continue on my path of learning and growth in becoming the best option for my clients regarding anything Real Estate in and around the Panhandle of the Great State of Florida, I know that I will continue to not only help my clients reach their goals but will gain lifelong relationships with clients along the way.

Seller reviewI approached Melany in a less than usual situation because her POV bears a realtor sticker. I was having trouble getting anyone I contacted to call me back from several brokerages. We spoke briefly and she really impressed me with her professionalism and knowledge. Ms. Hathcock was exceptional. At every turn she delivered more than I expected. I felt so at ease working with her. When a problem with a buyer arose, Melany was there bringing me solutions. I always felt like I was in great hands. In my opinion, she went WAY beyond what I would normally expect from a realtor. I will recommend her to anyone I know who is in the market to buy or sell property!

Seller reviewMelany is an excellent Realtor that gives her all! She recently sold a house for me and because she is experienced beyond her years, I got a price that was almost double what I expected. This was an older rental property and was overdue a new roof and HVAC system which I didn't want to invest in because I'm getting out of the business. After seeing the house and researching the market she advised a listing price that before talking to her I really didn't think I would get. Then she convinced me that her suggested price would bring lots of interest and probably drive the price even higher and proved it! You don't get results like that unless you know what you're doing and Melany does, she is the best! My original plan was to sell it myself, so for anybody reading this and thinking of selling your property yourself Don't. Yes, Realtors get a commission but what you receive in return is well worth it, they do this every day and Realtors like Melany know the market well. She is highly motivated and you'll be very happy with her results. So, if you're thinking of selling or buying property, I highly recommend Melany.

Seller reviewMs. Hathcock contacted us one day about listing our property, I asked her to contact me again in a few days. She did and what a beautiful and knowledgeable person she is. She provided us with a folder that contained a list of what she could do for us. We chose her as our realtor, and it was the best decision we made. She is very attentive to details and very knowledgeable in her field of work. That is what sold out property. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. If you are looking for a person to list your property with, call Ms. Hathcock is the best thing you could do.

Seller reviewAs an out of state investor, I have to be careful what realtors to use. Melany is a no nonsense, get the job done kind of person. She helps with the little things like cleaning, getting grass cut, etc. I have used her 4 times and would not think about using anyone else. She does what she says she'll do.
