Married 53 years to Kathryn, 3 children, Brian, Kristin and Todd. Grandfather to Jack and Lincoln. We live on Elizabeth lake in Waterford and enjoy boating, walking and biking.

Seller reviewRick Bartus was amazingly patient, kind and professional. We were dealing with a very layered process in order to get the home ready for sale and have the court's approval for the actual sale. Rick was there through the entire situation and accommodated our family's needs. Rick is the reason this sale went so smoothly. Forever grateful for an agent with such integrity and compassion. Rick was the best agent we could have had. We needed an agent to be understanding of our particular situation, communicate clearly with our family's attorney and be able to relay this information in a way that buyers and their agent would understand any delays not not mean that there was a issue. It is only a true professional that can maintain such a multitude of relationships for the sale of single property. Rick had everything handled so well that we were all at ease during this complicated process.

Buyer reviewRick Bartus was always available for anything we needed, whether it was a simple question, or to meet us at a house for a private showing. He actually enjoyed holding our house open anytime, and as often as we wanted. I personally don't think there was anything more that he could have done to sell our home...which is why we sold at full asking price. Thanks again Rick!

He had worked with her previously and therefore came into the transaction with a solid understanding of her requirements. He went above and beyond with the patience, foresight, and proactive approach he exhibited that ultimately proved successful in selling her condo in a timely manner at a price that was equitable for both her and the purchaser. Once again, Rick showed exceptional professionalism and knowledge in helping my mother get her condo sold. Rick is truly outstanding in his field, and we wouldn't hesitate to utilize his services for any future transactions and to heartily recommend him to any family or friends who were considering either buying or selling a property in the future.
